Alvin Ailey Dance Company (USA)	Revelations.
Alvin Ailey founded the company in 1958 as a showcase for his own work and to present important American works from the past, as well as introducing new works by established and up and coming choreographers. The company is dedicated to the preservation and enrichment of the African American cultural experience and American modern dance heritage.
